Horace wrote âcarpe diem quam minimum credula posteroâ which translates to âseize the day, and believe as little as possible in tomorrow.â Todayâs show is all about today-the choices we make, the people we impact, the technology we employ.
Hosts Brigitte and Zahra interview a most inspirational guest, former NFL football great Mike McMoy. McCoyâs passion is empowering youth and helping them develop a larger vision for their lives. Mike delivers a faith-based message of hope and encouragement to students that helps them make good decisions, overcome challenges and deal with peer pressure to develop the self-confidence to achieve true success. Faith, family, and friends are critical to happiness and decisions determine our destiny.
World Watch reporter, Joven Hundal takes us on a journey of technological advances over the past 16 years showing us why we need to appreciate the gift of âtodayâ. In Aim to Shoot, Katie Choo covers numerous opportunities for careers in a variety of fields. Embrace the present, live for today and take the advice of Mike McMoy: âReact, reflect, and respond.â
