Wong is also a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences (AAAS), a Fellow of AADR, a past member of the ADA Council of Scientific Affairs and the past president of American Association of Dental Research (AADR). Currently, he serves as chair of the NCI Liquid Biopsy Consortium and is a chartered member and co-chair of the NIH CSR Cancer Biomarker Study Section (CBSS).
During the program, Wong will educate listeners about his new discoveries concerning the oral cavity, saliva diagnosis, spit contamination and the roles they play in diagnosing and restricting the spread of the deadly Coronavirus, which has now killed more than 200,000 people in the United States. Even so, a segment of the population continues to resist wearing face masks in public. Refusing to wear a face mask in public deliberately puts others at risk as well as oneself. Kleyne teaches that every time a person speaks, tiny spit particles are launched into the atmosphere and can penetrate the oral and nasal cavities of others.
