Joyce Bender, Host of Disability Matters, will discuss efforts to evacuate people with disabilities from Ukraine at the beginning of this week’s show on March 15th at 2PM Eastern. At present, we know over two million Ukrainians have left their homes. For an estimated 2.7 million Ukrainians with disabilities, including those living in institutions and children in orphanages, fleeing is often not a choice, which is why our support, and this community discussion next week is so important.
