Voice America host and licensed RE/MAX Realtor Deb Tomaro is celebrating 10 years in real estate by giving back to the Bloomington, Indiana community. Throughout 2017, Tomaro will be donating 10% of each commission to one of nine local non-profit organizations. Tomaro asked her social media followers to cast their votes for local non-profits they wanted to see benefit through this project, which Tomaro is calling 10/10/10. The following groups were chosen: Positive Link HIV Services, Area 10 Agency on Aging, Stone Belt, Girls Inc., New Hope Family Shelter, PALS (People & Animal Learning Services), My Sister’s Closet, NAMI (National Association on Mental Illness, Bloomington Chapter) and Pets Alive. Plus, to spread the project even further, the 10th beneficiary of the project will be in the spirit of #DoGoodBloomington, a movement encouraging residents to engage in acts of paying it forward by helping someone in need or encouraging someone that needs a boost. Look out for the hashtag #101010 on social media to learn more about these organizations, how you can participate and to find out what else Deb is up to in 2017.
