The Global Compact is an incredible alliance created by the United Nations in 2000 which is a call to all companies to align strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. By doing this, the private sector and institutions in all countries can take and generate actions that will advance societal goals.
One of the ideas of the Global Compact is that âBusiness as a force for goodâ. With this in mind, companies commit to world sustainability; here is where business takes a shared responsibility for achieving a better world.
