Tune in for “Holy Hormones Honey!” with Host Leslie Botha for her new episode “A ‘Mad’ Woman’s Story of Psychosis to ‘Happily Ever-After’ ” on the Voiceamerica Health and Wellness Channel on Thursday Feb. 27th 9am Pacific Time.
After years of misdiagnosis, and RX drugs Cynthia Grace Fitzgerald-Costanzo moved from mania to the darkest depression and suicidal ideation that even her psychiatrist and therapist said they had ever seen.
At one point Cynthia felt strong enough to pursue a natural alternative to resolve her symptoms. She set out to CURE herself and to shed the label and stigma of being bi-polar. She wanted options that would give her another avenue to health other than the only choice but to see her âshrinkâ every month while he âpatted me on the head to make sure that I knew âI had to take the meds for the rest of my lifeâ and if I didnât comply it would be back to the psych ward.â According to Cynthia, âThis is the worst manipulation going on in this country and it has to STOP.â
Today Cynthia is thriving had has started a movement to engage individuals labeled with mental health disorders that society has chosen to give them all for the sake of absurd amounts of profits.
